James River Basin Partnership envisions clean water for you, your children, and your grandchildren.
Vision
Springfield Brewing Company is proud to be partnering with The James River Basin Partnership for an ongoing community tap beer. The James River Basin Partnership (JRBP) is a grassroots, not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) organization working to improve and protect the water quality of the springs, streams, rivers, and lakes in the James River watershed which consists of almost a million acres of land in portions of eight counties.
Since James River Basin Partnership‘s inception in 1997, their volunteers, members, and staff have committed through action, education, and research, to preserve and protect water quality within the James River basin and our beautiful Ozarks landscape. They are celebrating their 25th Year Anniversary of making an impact in our community this year!
The Beer
Blue Canoe is a well balanced copper colored pale with a pleasant mild malt character and citrusy hop flavor.

Ozarks literacy council reading rainbow IPA

Vision
Springfield Brewing Company is proud to be partnering with Ozarks Literacy Council for the next Community Tap beer. Formed in 1968, this local charity promotes literacy in Southwest Missouri by offering free one-on-one tutoring and a variety of literacy programs.
They continue to serve the literacy needs of our community by offering three programs. Their main program of one-on-one literacy tutoring educated 193 students in 2018 alone. They have generous volunteers that read to 32 local Springfield preschool classrooms and sent a new book home with each child. Their social advocacy keeps them engaged in the community through public events such as Neighborhood Night Out, Juneteenth, Backpack programs and more.

Classic West Coast IPA format that pushed craft beer to the main-stream. Clean, mild malt character with a pronounced hop aroma, flavor, and bitterness.

Great Circle India Pale Lager

As a community partner, Great Circle’s broadest aim is to de-stigmatize behavioral health as a best-in-class behavioral health services option for all children, individuals, and families. They champion change and growth for those who seek their services. And, as they help each succeed, they play an integral role in strengthening the fabric of every community they serve.
Their desire is to become something much different and a sum greater than its parts. By opening new doors and fresh pathways to help children, individuals, and families, they can successfully tackle some of life’s toughest challenges together.
Great Circle has 1,200 employees statewide and over 100 in Springfield, MO. Last year they were able to reach 4500 children and families in our community!
The Beer
Great Circle India Pale Lager is now on draft! This India Pale Lager brings together brewing techniques and yeast of a lager beer, with the big IPA hops of an ale to produce a unique brew. Its taste is nicely hopped, but also refreshing, clean, and crisp finish.

Habitat for humanity Dark Lager
Mission
The mission of Habitat For Humanity is to working work with qualified, low-income families in the Springfield, MO area to help them realize the dream of owning their very own home.

Dark Lagers are a true treat! Clean lager fermentations allow for bready, caramel, and cocoa malt flavors to take center stage. Highly drinkable and versatile. A portion of the proceeds from every draft beer go back to Habitat for Humanity for their House That Beer Built Campaign. 5.6% ABV / 18 IBUs

The Beer
E.S.B. (Extra Special Bitter) is now on draft and a portion of the proceeds from every pint goes back to Care to Learn to aid them in their mission of helping our community’s youth. Chestnut in hue and medium bodied, our E.S.B. has a balanced toasty malt body, fruity esters, and mild hop character.
