Black Friday Release: Bon Bon Tsarry Night

The wait is finally over! The highly anticipated draft and can release of our Bon Bon Tsarry Night is Black Friday starting at 11am.
Tsarry Night is a Russian Imperial Stout that has been in our winter line up at SBC since 2014. Its black-as-night hue comes from a blend of roasted barley, chocolate malt, and dark crystal malt. We patiently aged this Stout in five different bourbon and whiskey barrels for six months to pick up the beautiful complexities of spirit and oak. We then added mounds of cocoa nibs from Askinosie Chocolate (located on C Street) along with Tahitian and Madagascar vanilla beans. Finally, we added a healthy shot of dark roasted coffee from our downtown friends at Coffee Ethic (Downtown, Springfield) The result is a rich 9% beer that is decadently drinkable with layered notes of coffee, dark chocolate, vanilla, bourbon and stout.
